Stephanie Roser, born in 1988, completed her contemporary stage dance education in 2008 at the Balance 1 Dance Academy in Berlin and has since been working as a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher. She enjoys working across genres, moving between contemporary dance, dance theater, physical theater, installation, new circus, and musical theater. Stephanie has collaborated with Plan Mee/Eva Borrmann, Bregenz Festival, Stuttgart State Opera, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Spiel.Werk Ansbach/Daniela Aue, SETanztheater Nürnberg, Blomst!/Nina Kurzeja, Alexandra Rauh, Katja Erdmann-Rajski, Lara Russo and others.

 

Two of her own solo works, »Prinzessins Traum« (2010) and »Requiem for a cannibal« (2016), were nominated at international solo dance festivals in Erfurt , Stuttgart and Gdansk.

 

Since 2016 she has been working closely with director Daniela Aue and artist Lukas Aue. Since then, numerous small and large productions were created, as well as with other people the association, the ensemble and the venue »Spiel.Werk«.

As a pedagogue, she has been active in the hobby, educational and professional fields, as well as in the field of cultural education.
