The performance group Oblivia, founded in Helsinki in 2000, is a unique formation in the Finnish performance scene. With their »Do what you saw« improvisations, the protagonists developed a common performative language right from the start. Oblivia transcends the boundaries of genres and cultures and embodies a cosmos of its own in the world of the performing arts. The group works and performs internationally and has been collaborating with Theater Rampe for many years. ” Verdrängen, Verdrängen, Verdrängen is a nerdy, geeky, Oblivian-style experimental vocal music theatre performance about emotions and politics and emotions in politics. In collaboration with the Stuttgart composer Yiran Zhao, Oblivia takes up various aspects of the German word for expulsion and repression”. (Oblivia)
