Which language is capable of capturing a presence shaped by performativity? And how can we intervene artistically and sharpen awareness of the interplay of our actions with computer-generated processes? Reflection on the power structure of language and computer algorithms marked the work of Lara Hampe and Vera Sebert during their fellowship at the Stuttgarter Schriftstellerhaus. In the late summer of 2018, their interactive performance »Tiefenschärfe einer nie betretenen Fläche« (depth of focus of a never entered surface) was premiered at the Theater Rampe and is now being further developed by the two media artists for ECLAT and the rooms in the Theaterhaus.

The project was developed within the framework of the Hannsmann-Poethen Literature Scholarship
of the state capital Stuttgart.
